Overview

Jonah studied Anthropology at Emory University and Organizational Psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Before coming to Georgia Tech, Jonah worked for energy think tank Rocky Mountain Institute in Snowmass, Colorado, on their communications team.  Jonah's current research focuses on reducing vulnerability to the impacts of natural hazards. He investigates past examples of resilience to changing conditions in order to identify factors that we should pay attention to today. His current case studies are flood control projects in Houston, Miami, and Tampa in the postwar period.
